He’s said to have achieved everything already, and yet he still doesn’t rest on his laurels – for him, time has stopped, he’s not afraid of a challenge. The Spring/Summer 2024 collection by the one-and-only Giorgio Armani is clearly inspired by water, which is apparent in the flowing materials in blues and greens. The topical elements are subtle, like the ruffles, which seem to imitate waves on the sea. Inside the collection there’s a trench coat reminiscent of seaweeds, as well as a mesh minidress, see-through jackets with prints and long boho skirts. It also offers a wide range of designs, all interrelated through the same type of sparkling embroidery. Fabrics are of a great importance to the designer – Armani is very peculiar about their quality. As usual, this intriguing Italian designer rose to the challenge.
